Windy! And this week's RSVP

I am so lucky to be breaking bread with Windy this week. Windy, please email me your contact information & address at SisterCecelia@yahoo.com so I can mail your gift card to you . (Sorry about misspelling your name earlier!).

Be sure to leave a comment & maybe I'll be breaking bread with YOU next week.

So, apart from the awesome church I get to attend, I'm also participating in a women's ministry study group. I really wanted to join a group so I'd be more dedicated to reading God's word. I felt so strongly about it that I've had to leave my daughter with a babysitter an extra morning each week. We're following Kay Arthur's Precept on the book of John. It's a really great study, but I am also blessed to breaking bread with other ladies from the church I wouldn't otherwise get an opportunity to get to know.

On the very first day of the study, one of the group leaders passed around index cards for each of us to make a prayer request. The cards were divided by the 2 group leaders, and they are praying for each of us every day. Then the group members swap prayer requests each week for new things that croup up in our lives. I love getting to pray for someone each week, and knowing someone is praying for me each week makes be feel so lucky/blessed.

Do you guys have any specific prayer requests this week?

Yea! I am so excited! Thank you soooo much! I hope you have a great time in your new Bible study. Kay Arthur is always so deep. I will email you my info. My main prayer request has always been for my Dad's salvation.

Kay Arthur is wonderful. I am doing Beth Moore's bible study on the Psalms and I just broke apart Psalm 121. So beautiful and comforting that we have a God that never sleeps nor slumbers and will always protect us from the enemy. With my family going into the mission field next year this was very comforting to me to study.

Have a good week!

Oh yes, and I do have a prayer request. We are leaving behind when we move to Mexico our daughter who is almost 21. She really doesn't have any close friends and I have been praying for God to send her someone to love her while we are gone. Thank you so much and let me know if you have a prayer request. I keep a prayer journal.

Would love to break bread with you as well. We are doing "He Speaks to Me" by Priscilla Shirer. It is EXCELLENT!!! I have done a couple of Beth Moore studies and enjoyed them thouroughly but this fantastic. She was mentored by Beth Moore I think.
