Happy Monday, Everyone

Sherri is my guest of the week! Please leave a comment below to be entered in next week's drawing.

I'll add more later - just wanted to let everyone know who I'll be breaking bread with this week ASAP.

Ahhh! The test! Thank God you were all praying for him! He said he barely passed. When asked why he thought that was, he answered, "I didn't study enough. I won't make that mistake again!" I let him know I had friends praying for him, and he said he was sure it helped. So, thank God and thank YOU for praying for him.

We had pot luck at church on Sunday, and it was so much fun. It was held outdoors, and while it was a little windy, a fantastic time was had by all. The church had rented one of those big, white tent/canopy things for the occasion, and the next morning when we went for my women's Bible study group, my daughter saw it and squealed, "I want to EAT, Mommy!" She's a sharp little cookie.

In addition to pot luck and communion, we did 2 new things during our service. We were encouraged to write down our problems or requests and leave them at the foot of the cross, and candles were provided for us to light as we said a prayer for someone. Really, it was one of the best services I've ever attended. I hope your Sunday was just as moving!

Hey Cecelia

The email I sent you on Monday just got returned to me. Did you get it? Because sometimes that happens....it returns it to me and says it couldn't be sent, but the recipient got it anyway.

I hope he did pass even if it was barely and it teaches him the power of prayer.

We have potluck at church so much if my two three year olds see a tablecloth they run over to see if we are eating!!!

Congrats Sherri!!

I'm glad that he passed the test. At least he realized why. We live and learn.

Your service on Sunday sounds awesome.

Suzy, you are such a generous lady! I can't wait to see the jeans that you so lovingly made to help us bring our daughter home. I'm touched by the "breaking of bread" give-a-away...what a wonderful idea! I pray its brings you many blessings from above!

Hugs from St. Louis,
Robin
